"We will never forget" has been forgotten: The third Jihad

In the days that followed September 11, 2001, the slogan "we will never forget" was everywhere the eye could see. That defiant slogan was adorned on bumper stickers, tee shirts, car magnets and patriotic photos that hung in office cubicles. Even today, I still see an occasional faded car magnet that is emblazoned with that motto. How things change in eight short years. American memories have faded much like that weathered car magnet in regards to our war on terror with Islamo-Fascism. The war on terror is now referred to as an overseas contingent operation and an act of terror is referred as a man made catastrophe. President Obama recently returned from his overseas apology tour and acted as if Americans were responsible for the world’s ills.

The slogan that followed the Shoah after World War II was "never again" and even that seems to have faded from memory as the world allows the Persian Nazi to obtain nuclear weapons. Watch the 4 short videos about the third Jihad and refresh your memory about the enemy we still face. Even though Obama and his liberal cohorts want to forget what happened on that day in September and deny the war on terror does not make it go away. We may not be at war with them but they are still at war with us. The same way is was September 10, 2001. A pre-911 mindset.

Obama's report card: The first one hundred days

The first one hundred days benchmark of Obama's Presidency is fast approaching. I must admit, I thought Obama would govern from the far-left and be weak on the international stage but I didn't think he would do it this quickly and with this much gusto. Mr. Obama started off his first day in office with a bang by ordering the closure of Gitmo and the banning of the successful enhanced interrogation techniques that were employed on mass murdering terrorists. Mr. Obama then reimposed the "Mexico City Policy and Assistance for Voluntary Population Planning" with the stroke of the pen. This policy will use American taxpayer monies for foreign abortions which former President Bush banned in 2001 and 2003. Funny how liberals refer to the killing of a baby as "voluntary population control" and I am quite sure the baby didn't volunteer for death.

President Obama's short term in office has seen him spend $700 billion TARP bailout, the $787 billion stimulus, and a $410 billion, earmark-laden budget appropriation -- at a time when the U.S. budget deficit already exceeds $11 trillion. Now Obama is planning to add more spending with his ObamaCare which will add trillions more to our debt. According to The Heritage Foundation, low-end estimates project a cost of $1.17 trillion over the first 10 years of the program -- far more than the $684 billion in Obama’s preliminary budgetary framework and other estimates pegs the cost at $1.6 trillion over the next ten years. Remember Obama's Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel when he stated, "never let a crisis go to waste." Liberals have taken this to heart.

This administration has announced that they will cut the superior F-22 Raptor program that will be needed in future engagements against the likes of the Russians and Chinese. The Army's $160 billion Future Combat Systems modernization program would lose its armored vehicles and plans to build a shield to defend against missile attacks by rogue states would also be scaled back. Obama has already tried to trade away our missile defense shield in Europe to the Russians, so I don't see him supporting and funding SDI in the future. At a time when insane and apocalyptic regimes are launching ICBM's and threaten the existence of other countries, Obama's policy is insane and naive and dangerous.

Mr. Obama has fulfilled his campaign promise to engage the world and make them like us. The president has traveled thousands of miles around the globe apologizing for Americas past arrogant and mean spirted attitude. Thanks Mr. President, now the world loves us. I can hear the terrorists around the world dropping their collective weapons and singing Kum Ba Yah in unison. The release of the secret CIA interrogations memos to the public will only help future terrorists that we capture and hinder intelligence gathering. Obama is now throwing a bone to the far-left and setting into motion the prosecution of Bush Administration officials for saving the lives of Americans. Dick Cheney has asked the CIA to release the information that shows that terrorist plots were disrupted and lives were saved because of enhanced interrogations.

Obama is leading this country down the path of socialism and giving the appearance of a Banana Republic. Liberals calling for “truth commissions” and the prosecution of former officials are reminiscence of South Africa and their truth and reconciliation committees after apartheid. Liberals see a strong America as a type of apartheid and that is very dangerous. In my opinion, Mr. Obama’s first one hundred days should be remembered as lowering the United States from super power status. This is very jeopardous for America and unstable for the world. While our enemies will give Obama an A, I will give him an F and we still have three years and two hundred plus days ahead. GULP!

Objective reporting of the tea parties?

Objective reporting by the main-stream media of the tea parties wouldn't you say? This CNN reporter looks like she bucking for a job in the Obama Administration. National coverage of the tea parties by the main-stream media was about what I expected but I think Gov. Huckabee said it best when he said that if you get five women wearing pink and protesting Bush then you would have 300 cameras following them.

Can Obama negotiate with the 12th Imam?

The 12th Imam prophecy should be taken into account when discussing future military budgets and current diplomatic overtures towards Iran in general and Ahmadinejad in particular. Let me explain the 12th Imam prophecy that the Shia (Iran) subscribe and the dangers that come with this belief. The Shia prophesies that there is a coming 12th Imam who is the great spiritual savior with the name Abu al-Qasim Muhammad or also called Muhammad al Mahdi. Most accounts of the story say that al Mahdi (12th Imam) went into hiding as a child around the age of five years old in the 13th Century. Ahmadinejad believes that Mahdi is hiding in a well somewhere and will supernaturally return just before the Day of Judgment.

According to Shia Islam, the criteria for the Hidden Imam are as follows: He will be a descendant of Muhammad and the son of Fatima-Will have a broad forehead and pointed nose-Will return just before the end of the world-His appearance will be preceded by a number of prophetic events during 3 years of horrendous world chaos, tyranny and oppression-Will escape from Medina to Mecca, thousands will pledge allegiance to him-Will rule over the Arabs and the world for 7 years-Will eradicate all tyranny and oppression bringing harmony and total peace-Will lead a prayer in Mecca which Jesus will be at his side.

You may be asking yourself why this prophecy is important to the United States and our national security. The importance arises from the fact that the Obama Administration blindly believes that it can negotiate with an apocalyptic leader. President Ahmadinejad and his cabinet say they have a ‘signed contract’ with al Mahdi in which they pledge themselves to his work. What does this work involve? According to their own prophecy, there must be world chaos for the Imam to return. The strides that Iran is making in regards to their nuclear ambitions will soon come to fruition and will then be able to “wipe Israel off the face of the map.” That would be the start of the chaos needed to bring about the stupid kid hiding in the well.

An apocalyptic regime will not negotiate away the very instrument (nuclear weapon) they need to bring about their prophecy. The liberals would have us think that Iran and Muslims dislike Americans because of George W. Bush and his mean policies. Radical Muslims “hate” us because we are not Muslim and it is that simple. Iran will to continue to use their terrorist proxies to attack Americans and Israelis and will most likely provide some sort of WMD to accomplish their work. Mr. Obama should not allow the Iranians to continue to stall a military response on their nuclear complex and that is exactly what Obama is doing with negotiations. Obama and Congressional Democrats are proposing the gutting of the very systems (SDI, F-22) that we will need to protect us now and in the future. The world is entering the most dangerous time in our history with a gullible neophyte at the helm.

Thank you United States Navy!

I would like to thank the men and women sailors of the USS Bainbridge for finishing the job they were presented with. The Commander of the destroyer showed great leadership and quick decision making abilities that allowed our Navy SEALS to send three Muslim pirates to their 72 virgins. I would also like to thank President Obama for doing his job as Commander-in-Chief. Mr. Obama, in the future, I would ask that you allow the Military to react to this violence without your signature and allow them to do their jobs sooner. You do not need to micro manage our Military because our armed forces have the best commanders in the world.

It may appear that I am not giving true credit to Mr. Obama. I am giving Obama his credit because he could have "not" allowed our military to do the jobs their trained to do. I pretty much expected him to offer the pirates some counseling and maybe a bailout and a new Koran. Mr. President, you really could have shown some major leadership and blown the North Korean missile out of the air several weeks ago when you had the chance. You will probably have more chances in the future.

Liberal-Socialists in their own words

Liberal-Socialists are usually successful at hiding their true beliefs, but sometimes they let their words slip and show their true colors. These three videos are just a small example of their socialistic leanings and distaste for a strong foreign policy and traditional values. The Congressional Black Caucus that just returned from Cuba spoke glowingly of Fidel Castro and the Communist Cuban lifestyle. It seems that everyday Obama is in office, the more the liberals let their guard down and reveal who they really are. With the recent Rasmussen poll that reveals only 53% of American adults believe capitalism is better than socialism it is no wonder that liberals feel more emboldened. I feel this country is on a crash course with the socialistic mistakes of the past. God help us!

Biden "guarantees" we are safer today than under Bush

I really don't what to think of Mr. Biden except that maybe he is truly divorced from reality. President Bush kept this country safe for seven years and took the fight to the Islamo-fascists in their own backyards. Mr. Bush made missile defense a priority in his tenure to protect our country from the likes of Iran and N. Korea. The Bush Administration pushed for stronger laws and tactics to foil future terror attacks. Under President Bush our military expenditures have soared by 40 percent since 2001.

The Obama Administration has announced that they will gut our military in upcoming budgets while they give out bailouts to the tune of trillions of Dollars. The United States is so safe now because of the Messiah, they now plan to cut future missile defense funding. I guess that little potbellied pig in N. Korea doesn't get the "change" message because he is still launching his little missiles. The Iranian's must not get the message either because they are expanding their uranium enrichment with an eye toward Israel. With a conventional war still possible with China or the Nu-Soviets in our future, Obama wants to end production of the highly advanced F-22 stealth fighter.

I am assuming that Biden feels Israel is safer now as well because he warned Israel today from taking unilateral military action against Iran and their nuclear complex.
Mr. Biden, please let the Israelis do what they need to do to protect their survival and avoid being wiped off the face of the map. Mr. Biden, you are no intellectual equal to Bibi Netanyahu and in fact you are a mental midget. The Israelis could use our help in this matter but it looks as though they will have to go it alone.

After Biden's safety guarantee, he went on to say, "the Bush administration left the country “in a weaker posture than we’ve been any time since World War II: less regarded in the world, stretched more thinly than we have ever been in the past, two wars under way, virtually no respect in entire parts of the world.” Mr. Biden, unlike you and your weak liberals, I prefer safety and strength over being liked. Liberals like yourself do not see the world as it is, but only as you want it to be.
I am thinking that "guarantee" will come back to bite Mr. Biden when we get hit again.

Visa Denial Puts Heroic Iraqi Translator in the Crosshairs

This is an article from Fox News.com that I think deserves some attention. It is about an Iraqi translator that served America with honor in the Iraq war and is now being denied a visa into the United States. I have started an online petition asking President Obama to intervene with the State Department and allow this hero to come home to America. I have included a link at the bottom of the story for you to sign. We need to honor Muslims that help us in the Global War on Terror and set an example for other Muslims to follow.
________________________________________________________________

An Iraqi translator who has earned commendations for risking his life repeatedly to save the lives of many American soldiers in combat has been denied a visa to live in the United States because of nonviolent actions he took to overthrow Saddam Hussein — at the same time the U.S. government was calling for regime change in Iraq.

Jasim, whose name is being withheld for his safety, has received strong support from the U.S. military, and the Department of Homeland Security approved his application for a visa. But the State Department has denied Jasim a visa because he was arrested in 1996 for actions against the Saddam dictatorship.

Some of Jasim's supporters, however, believe the real reason he's been denied a visa is that he has become a "nuisance" to State Department personnel at the Baghdad Embassy. The State Department, citing privacy concerns, declined to discuss Jasim's case.

Because Iraqi translators are seen by jihadists and former Baathists as "traitors," Jasim's life is at greater risk the longer he stays in Iraq, according to multiple State Department and U.S. military officials. A number of translators and their families have already been tortured and/or murdered.

Jasim said his stepbrother, in fact, was captured in the fall of 2007 and was tortured to death in an effort to get to him. The U.S. Army officer who received and processed the report on the murder, Major Leslie Parks, told FOXNews.com that Jasim's stepbrother was tortured with an electric drill through his eyes.

U.S. military officials familiar with Jasim's case believe that he will be in even greater danger after U.S. forces withdraw from most of Iraq next year.

The State Department, meanwhile, has told Jasim that he must wait three more years before he can apply for a waiver of its visa rejection.

When he applied for his visa, Jasim feared it might be denied by an overworked consular officer on the basis of his arrest, so he attached a letter explaining the full circumstances.

Jasim wrote that his hatred of Saddam was formed at a young age, as the regime murdered five of his relatives during his childhood. Barely into adulthood, Jasim joined the Peshmerga, a largely Kurdish group whose primary goal in the 1990s was to overthrow Saddam — an objective supported by the Clinton administration.

The Pehmerga assigned Jasim to obtain documents and eavesdropping equipment that were in the possession of Saddam's ruthless son, Uday, and Jasimn said that he stole Uday's car in order to retrieve the documents and equipment.

Soon after, he was arrested, and he was sentenced to life in prison. For the next six and a half years, he was routinely tortured, he said.

On the eve of the Coalition invasion in 2003, Hussein released many prisoners as a "goodwill" gesture, and Jasim was among them.

A year later, he joined the Iraqi Special Forces. Though officially allied with Coalition forces, the Iraqi military suffered at the time from ethnic and religious divisions, as well as corruption. Jasim came to believe that they weren't fully behind the cause of freedom, so he signed up as a translator for U.S. forces.

During his three years as a translator, Jasim has exposed himself to enemy fire in the course of saving American lives. Three different Americans who served with him in Iraq told FOXNews.com that they are alive today because of Jasim.

"The only reason I am here today is because of Jasim," said Elisabeth Keene, a U.S. Army specialist who serves in a combat unit. "He saved the life of everyone in my unit.

"On several occasions while our guys were putting rounds down range, Jasim put himself in harm's way to pull the wounded out and treat them," Keene said. "Jasim is a hero to everyone he has ever met."

"I owe my life to Jasim ... hands down," said Master Sgt. Jason Krieger, who went on over 200 combat patrols with Jasim. "I consider him a brother, not only in arms, but in love as well."

Those who have worked with Jasim are astonished at the decision to deny him a visa. FOXNews.com has obtained numerous letters submitted by U.S. Army and Marine Corps personnel supporting his application. Each letter praises his heroism in glowing terms and strongly recommends issuing a visa.

Click here to see the letters of recommendation.

Jasim even received letters of recommendation from a couple of two-star generals. It is unusual for a translator's visa application to be endorsed even by one general. U.S. Army Captain Joseph Schwankhaus wrote about one day in particular when Jasim performed multiple heroic acts. "While establishing security positions around a patrol that was struck by an IED, [Jasim] singlehandedly removed a wounded soldier from a disabled vehicle and ensured that he was treated by the company medic. During this security cordon, another soldier was shot in the head by a sniper and a large fire fight ensued. [Jasim], while under direct enemy fire provided cover for the wounded soldier while medical personnel rendered life-saving first aid."

Schwankhaus stated emphatically, "His dedication to my soldiers and his total disregard for his own personal safety assisted in saving the life of a very good Non-Commissioned Officer."

Many of the letters note that Jasim helped Coalition forces capture several high-ranking terrorists, including some from Al Qaeda. A joint letter from Sgt. Charles Burns and Maj. Charles Burnett stated, "[T]he information [Jasim] enabled the team to gather resulted in intelligence relevant to 90% of the maneuver commander's High Value Targets." Lt. Col. Antonio Aguto wrote, "The information [Jasim] gathered from Iraqi local nationals led directly to the capture" of the two highest-value targets in that region.

Four experts in visa policy, including three former consular officers who reviewed Jasim's case history for FOXNews.com, said they found the official reasoning for Jasim's denial puzzling. Each expert spoke on condition of anonymity because of current employment or contacts with the State Department.

They said a specific provision in the law relating to "crimes of moral turpitude" should define Jasim's action of stealing Uday Hussein's car as "political," thus making him eligible for a visa. The first exception listed in the relevant law is that "purely political" actions do not qualify as "crimes of moral turpitude."

A former Capitol Hill staffer who was intimately involved in shaping visa policy for many years asked rhetorically, "How could this not be political? Did he get some personal benefit out of stealing Uday's car?"

Even if the State Department were to ignore the political motivations of Jasim's actions, each expert agreed that standard car theft likely wouldn't disqualify an applicant with an otherwise clean record.

"It's not such a serious crime that you could say anyone who steals a car is ineligible for a visa. Then you consider that it happened over a decade ago, while he was young, and he has no other criminal history," explained a former consular officer who served two tours. But, he stressed, "It certainly seems political to me."

Vice Consul David Jendrisak, the Baghdad-based consular officer who denied Jasim's visa, said in a phone interview that the decision to deny Jasim a visa was made in consultation with the legal office of Consular Affairs in Washington, D.C., something that isn't done for most visas. He acknowledged that the decision was based on Jasim's theft of Uday Hussein's car, which he said was not deemed a "political" act for purposes of the visa denial.

Based on government documents obtained by FOXNews.com, it appears that the Department of Homeland Security cleared Jasim for a visa, issuing him last May a "notice of approval." Jendrisak, however, said that DHS had no authority to issue a visa now. The consular officer explained that Jasim would have to wait three years to apply for a waiver from the Department of Homeland Security. He refused to explain why Jasim would have to wait three years.

Asked if he was concerned for the safety of Jasim and his family during that time, Jendrisak refused to comment.

Some of Jasim's supporters believe the State Department has ulterior motives for denying the visa. "When all the other agencies, including DHS, give their stamp of approval, I have a hard time believing that there is a generous explanation for this decision," says Maj. Leslie Parks, who served in Iraq coordinating outreach to local Iraqi civilian and government officials.

Parks, who worked with Jasim and estimates that the translator has gone on 1,300 combat patrols, believes the State Department may be singling out Jasim for being a "nuisance."

"Jasim's been high-profile for a while, starting with being featured on 60 Minutes in early 2007 (as 'Timmy,' his previous cover name) about translators who weren't getting the visas, despite their lives being threatened," Parks said.

“He’s also been a whistleblower on a few occasions, exposing potentially embarrassing information regarding the Embassy and other U.S. and Iraqi government agencies operating in the Green Zone.”

Starting a few months ago, Jasim organized his fellow translators to oppose a provision negotiated by the State Department to hand over the names and personal information of all translators to the Iraqi government. Translators feared that their lives would be at risk if their identities were learned by Iraqis who view them as "traitors."

Making sure their voices would be heard, Jasim gathered a public meeting of over 100 translators in Baghdad last December — during the time his visa application was being processed.

In a FOXNews.com story on this issue in January, Jasim criticized the State Department's deal. "We work so hard to get the bad guys, to capture terrorists, and now, because of a political deal, they're putting our lives at risk," he said. FOXNews.com identified him only by first name in that story. The consular officer who denied Jasim's visa, though, admitted that he knew of Jasim's role in leading opposition to the release of translators' personal information.

For now, Jasim continues his work with U.S. forces, hoping that the country he has served loyally for the past three years will welcome him, his new wife and their baby. Asked if he regrets his decision to support the U.S., he replied, "No, I'm proud of what I've done. I have to do what is right."

Every day he walks out in public, Jasim knows he could be murdered for working with the U.S. He is much more worried, though, about the safety of his family.

It's a concern shared by Americans who have served with him. "To deprive him of his opportunity to protect his family, after he had protected mine for well over a year, is nothing short of criminal," said Master Sgt. Krieger. "Every day he remains in Iraq, he, his wife, and newborn son are at risk of death, solely due to his service to our country."

AXIS OF UNITY UPDATE.

UPDATE: This is an update to my post that ran March 19th. I came across this video and I think it shows how easy it will be to launch a massive attack on our country with biological weapons.

Original post from March 19th.

There is a time bomb ticking on our southern border with Mexico and it is not the drug war that now envelops the region. The time bomb that I refer is Iranian backed Hezbollah terrorists that are operating in South America in the Tri-border ( Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina) area. Hezbollah has manipulated the frustrations of many Muslims among about 25,000 Arab residents that reside in that area. An investigation by Telemundo two years ago has uncovered details of an extensive smuggling network run by Hezbollah and funnels large sums of money to militia leaders in the Middle East to finances training camps.

Newsmax is reporting today that the Iranian-backed Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah is involved in drug trafficking in Colombia. The commander of U.S. forces in Latin America is worried about increased Iranian and Hezbollah activities throughout the region. Admiral James Stavridis states, "We have seen in Colombia a direct connection between Hezbollah activity and the narco-trafficking activity.” What is more troubling is the developing relationship between Venezuela Dictator Hugo Chavez and Iranian madman Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinejad and Chavez are self-declared "revolutionaries,” united both by their contempt for the United States. They have declared themselves the Axis of Unity because of their shared goal of destroying the United States.

There are reports that Chavez is training Hezbollah operatives in Venezuela and just several months ago Turkey interdicted a shipment of what they believed were explosives, but were labeled tractor parts, that were heading from Iran to Venezuela. I just wonder what has made it through without being detected. With Iran on the verge of attaining nuclear capability, the United States must be more vigilant with our porous borders with Mexico. The next terrorist attack on the U.S. will most likely originate from our southern border and the terrorist cells may be already here. The narco-war in Mexico is troubling, however it is not as troubling as a WMD attack on an American city.

D.C threatened with man-caused catastrophe

Pakistan's Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud has threatened Washington, D.C. and the White House with a man-caused catastrophe during an overseas contingency operation. Of course the Taliban terror chief didn't use the new Obama phrase, a man-caused catastrophe, for the act of terror because he is a terrorist. Meshsud doesn't use the other Obama phrase, overseas contingency operation, because he knows there is a war against the West. I wonder if this waste of human debris (Meshsud not Obama) actually hits our nations capital with a terrorist attack, will the White House still use their stupid new phrases to describe the War-on-Terror and terrorist attacks.

In an interview with an AP reporter, Mehsud is quoted as saying, ""Soon we will launch an attack in Washington that will amaze everyone in the world.” Do I think this guy can pull off a "Mumbai" style attack in Washington, D.C.? Anyone that is bent on destruction with members with the same mind set can create all kinds of havoc. Mehsud is a rising star within the terrorist ranks of Pakistan and collaborates with Al Qaeda in the South Waziristan region of Pakistan. Mehsud has a $5 million bounty on his head and was implicated in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto in 2007 and the recent police academy terrorist attack. This guy is a bad dude and some analysts are saying that we should not dismiss his threat.

Is it going to take another terror attack for liberals to realize that we are in a war against Islamo-Fascism? Bill Clinton ignored the first World Trade Center bombing, Cole bombing, the embassy attacks and failed to capture Bin Laden when he was offered up by his hosts. Islamo-Fascists declared war on the West in general and the U.S. in particular in 1979 with the American hostages being held for 444 days by Muslim radicals in Iran. Obama is staying true to what liberal presidents often do when they obtain power. The liberals are now stating that there will be major and painful cuts to the military budget in about 2010 or 2011. The act of cutting military spending during a time of war is proof that Obama et al have a pre-911 mind set.

I do hope this nation is not hit by another man-caused catastrophe and I also hope that Americans wake up to the fact that we are in an overseas contingency operation.
